Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter®

The Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter® removes contamination from liquids, down to 15 microns. The SpiroKlene™ system enables continuous operation, eliminating production stoppages to replace bags or cartridges. Our units are designed to increase your productivity, protect your operators and minimize maintenance costs. They are also very small and easily fit into existing production lines.

Russell Hygiene Filter™

The Russell Hygiene Filter™ has been specifically designed for sanitary applications to meet the demands of the food and pharmaceutical industries. Internal surfaces have been made crevice free for even easier cleaning. Incorporating a unique self-cleaning wiper system, oversize can be continuously removed as fine as 15 microns. In addition its reusable reduced crevice filter element eliminates costs and environmental implications associated with bags and cartridges.

High temperature filters

The Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter® can be upgraded to filter liquid products such as resins, cooking oil and other high temperature liquids up to 250°C. Fitted with an offset drive and heat resistant seals, gaskets and wiper system, you can enjoy all the benefits the Russell Eco Filter® provides without compromising your operators’ safety. A heating jacket is fitted to keep your product at the correct temperature.

High flow filtration

The 900 series Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter® is our biggest industrial strainer. It is used within applications as diverse as liquid chocolate and effluent or water straining. These filters are available in vertical or horizontal versions with flanged inlet and outlet connections in 4”, 6” and 8” diameters to suit your existing pipework.

Russell Filter Management System™

The Russell Filter Management System™ monitors and controls your filtration process. It automatically ejects oversize contamination enabling the filter to run efficiently without operator involvement. This is achieved by monitoring the differential pressure across the filter screen and operating the discharge valves when necessary. It can also be set up to operate the valves on a timed basis.
